Way to Go America!

No, this post isn't about the World Cup. It's about So You Think You Can Dance. Which means it is mostly for my sister. I would be remiss to have a blog and not write about my thoughts from the dreaded "results show," especially since the title of the show has already appeared in 2 out of 2 posts. So here's where I stand: GOOD JOB, America. You got it right.

At least we got it right with the bottom three. The judges got the final say and while I would've preferred to see Melinda "Name Dropper" Tapfeet go home, I didn't mind that Cristina was eliminated. She did a good job but I doubt she was going to be around too much longer.

I always feel so bad for the ballroom dancers when they have to "dance for their lives." It's sort of awkward watching them dance by themselves - it's like you walked in on a rehearsal. There isn't much they seem to do solo besides spin and shake their hips. Although, I still find it far more fascinating than the tappers (sorry tap dancers).

Also, this just in, I like to judge things I don't know anything about.

Of course now that I've dissed Melinda and tap dancing, she'll probably end up being one of my favorites...just like it happened last year with Ashleigh.

All in all, I've agreed with the 2 eliminations thus far. The only things I really had problems with this week were Mia's ruffly blouse (what was that?) and Nigel's criticism toward Travis "I'm the Best Choreography So Bite Me, Nigel" Wall.

  1. I was a Cristina fan, but I agree, she would not have stuck around much longer. Fingers crossed that Tappity Tapfoot taps her way home next week.
